SHIPPING & Delivery

We pride ourselves on providing the best overall customer experience from the time you place your order to the moment you receive your new DŌST eBike. Our priority is to ship your new eBike as quickly and as safely as possible. That’s why we’ve developed our own heavy-duty custom bike boxes to ensure nothing can be damaged en route and why we use only the most reliable shipping partners in the business. We recommend you keep the box for future transport or in case you need to return the bike (Note: we do not accept returns after 14 days). DŌST’s fulfillment center and headquarters is based in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada. All our orders are shipped directly from our warehouse.
Please note we do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/AFO addresses. If this affects you please contact us for a quote on shipping rates.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING – At this time DŌST does not ship bikes outside of U.S. and Canada.
Deliver Options:
Option 1 – Delivery to Your Home
We will deliver your bike to your home. The bikes are fully assembled and just needs the straightening of the handle bar and installation of the pedals. Assembly instructions are available on our website.
Option 2 – Delivery to a Local Bike Shop
If you would prefer to have a professional bike mechanic assemble and tune the bike we will be happy to make arrangements to have a Local Bike Shop near you do the work. We will have the bike delivered to the shop and assembled and tuned for you for a fee of $75 which will paid to the shop. (Note: The assembly fee is non-refundable should you choose to return the bike).
Once payment is received most orders are fulfilled within 1 – 3 business days for all in-stock items at which point the package is transferred to our shipping partners and is available for tracking. Our insurance fully covers your package during shipment


All DŌST Bikes are covered by a limited 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects (Note: applies only to the original owner of the bike).

We will replace or repair any components that are damaged/faulty and covered under warranty. Our Support Team will be available to assist you with any repairs. If necessary, we will direct you to a Local Bike Shop to have the repairs done for you. These costs are typically reimbursed by DŌST Bikes. 



In general, items considered “consumable” are not covered as they are designed to wear out. These include brake pads, tires, tubes, spokes, chains etc. Please check with our online store or call us for availability should you require any of these parts.



Here at DŌST we pride ourselves in selling quality e-bikes and products. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase or maybe you want to change an order please contact us first to see if we can help in any way.
ORDERED BUT NOT SHIPPED: If the bike was ordered but not shipped (including pre-orders), call us and we will make sure you are offered a 100% refund.
SHIPPED AND WITHIN 14-DAY TRIAL PERIOD: Once a bike is received by the customer the 14-day Trial Period will begin. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with the bike during the trial period you may return it back to us in its original condition, packaging and contents for a full refund. Bikes that customers want to return must be in new condition and have less that 10 miles (16 km).
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on products after 14 days from date of receiving the shipment.


When we DO accept returns:
If the accessory or part has not been used, it is clean of any dust or dirt and in the original packaging and condition as it was received.
If the accessory or part was purchased within 30 days.
All DŌST accessories and replacement parts are subject to a 10% restocking fee. The customer pays for the return shipping to the DŌST warehouse facility (address below). DŌST does not offer returns on USED accessories and parts except in extreme cases of the malfunction or breakage.
Does NOT accept returns for following items: 
  1. Batteries
  2. Special Orders
  3. Sale Items
  4. Gifted Orders
For all returned items, the customer must first obtain written approval for the specific item(s) to be returned from DŌST. If DŌST receives an item(s) without prior written approval a refund will not be issued and the customer will be charged for the shipping of the item(s) back to their address.
Once DŌST receives the item for return, an inspection of the item will be performed and the customer will be notified whether it has passed or not and whether they receive a refund, store credit or exchange.

Sales Tax

We do not charge sales tax on bike orders from the United States. 

In Canada all orders are subject to the following Federal and Provincial sales taxes:

Liability Disclaimer

You are responsible for your own actions while using an electric bike. DŌST Bikes Inc is not responsible/nor liable for any accidents or injuries (whether caused by you or others) that may occur during your use of our eBikes. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to determine if your current insurance policy would cover you in the event of an accident.



Please note that information regarding the expected range on a single charge on one of our eBikes is an estimate, not a guarantee. There are many factors that contribute to actual, real-world range for an eBike battery such as age of the battery, temperature, level of assist, speed, payload, and terrain. Given the right conditions, it is possible to get less than the expected minimum range or greater than the expected maximum range.



For all pre-orders and backorders, your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship. Pre-orders that are cancelled by a customer and not already shipped by DŌST Bikes will be 100% refundable. Pre-orders that are cancelled by a customer after shipment will be subject to a 10% processing fee.
A backorder essentially allows you to reserve an eBike that is currently out of stock. It functions the same as a normal purchase, except your eBike will be shipped at a later date as specified on the product page. Pre-orders are typically for completely new products that are not yet released. Our backorder process is for eBikes that have already been available, but are temporarily out of stock.

Are DŌST Bikes street legal?

All DŌST riders should check their local laws and regulations before operating an electric bicycle. DŌST Bikes Inc is not responsible for any fines, and or punishments resulting from riders who do not follow their local laws and regulations.

DŌST Bikes meet all US and Canadian regulations for eBikes. See below for details on each country.


In the United States, our DŌST bicycles are street legal and classified as bicycles. Before riding your bike it is important to check your, state, county, and local laws to ensure you are riding legally.

In Canada, the regulations are fairly straightforward. An eBike has operable pedals, has an electric motor of 500 watts or less and has a maximum speed capability of 32 km/hr from the motor while riding on level ground. Be advised that in Canada, jurisdictions like municipalities and provinces may have specific regulations, so be sure to check in your local laws and regulations.
