A World Record Attempt - The Finish Line
They say all good things have to come to an end. And for Danielle “Flipper” Kreusch and Kyle “Skipper” Hawkins, this means their incredible journey to setting a new Guinness World Record for “longest journey by motorized bicycle” on their DŌST Drop and Kope bikes, will come to glorious end tomorrow afternoon.
The inspirational couple, who as of their final day of travel tomorrow, will have traversed more than 7,000 miles across the continental United States over a span of three months, riding an average of 100 miles/day.
Throughout their journey, Flipper and Skipper have endured torrential downpours, extreme winds and other hazardous conditions. However, they have persevered through it all and continue to inspire us all to push through the boundaries of what was previously thought to be impossible in our own lives.
To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime achievement, the DŌST team and I will be welcoming them at their finish line at Marine Park in Bellingham, Washington at approximately 1pm PST.
If you’re in the area, we would love to have you and your families join us for this event! The DŌST Mobile Road Show will also be set up on site allowing for free test rides of our award-winning ebikes. My team and I would love to meet you in person, answer any questions you might have about ebikes, and perhaps equip you with some pretty sweet DŌST swag!
One last thing…Flipper and Skipper will be taking over our DŌST Instagram page for the last 24 hours of their journey. What an incredible opportunity to hear directly from them as they conclude the ride of a lifetime!
